• Aphrodite appears during the brief moment when a bud becomes a flower.
• The passing of time places pressure upon Aphrodite because it gradually takes this attribute away.
• Can this pressure create a need to reject what has already been tested and replace it with: “Let us do it according to our own understanding”?
• Does this create confusion, or does it represent a necessary force of change?
